California Nurses Association to Announce Endorsement of Rebecca Kaplan for Oakland City Council—Thursday, Noon

Kaplan Hailed for Being Effective Advocate for Progressive Values, Strongly Committed to Healthcare Justice

The California Nurses Association will announce this Thursday its endorsement of Rebecca Kaplan in Oakland’s upcoming at-large City Council race.  CNA represents thousands of nurses who either live in Oakland or work at one of its medical facilities.

Jan Rodolfo, an RN at Alta Bates Summit Medical Center, an Oakland resident, and the elected Secretary of the CNA, said, “nurses know Rebecca Kaplan’s commitment to community health, and through her years of legislative advocacy have come to rely upon her as an exceptionally talented and principled public servant. She’ll make Oakland proud.”
